Gut healthy veggies pickled in a salt brine
When my husband first uttered “lacto-ferment” and “good bacteria” to me, I definitely wrinkled my nose. He won me over with the fact that you can make dill pickles (gherkins) just like you’d get in the US by using this method.
These recipes are easy, good for your gut and more importantly, the salt brining process actually creates more flavour. It’s been a sad learning for my fridge though, as it’s now jam packed with jars…
