About

As an American, of course I love a good mac and cheese. This one is surprisingly easy to make as it doesn’t require a roux and it appeals to my soul as it does require lots of butter.

It’s a great quick addition to a BBQ - we like to serve it alongside wood-fired buffalo wings and a green salad.

Method

  1. Cook your macaroni on the stove under it’s al dente.
  2. Preheat your pizza oven to 260C with your skillet.
  3. Whisk together your eggs, milk, melted butter and a pinch of salt. Add your cheese and cooked pasta, stirring to combine.
  4. Pour into your skillet and cook for 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Serve hot!
